So the MLB All-Star Game, useless/great, fun/boring depends on your perspective. So they made some changes which may but probably won’t change anyone’s stand on the thing. First is that there will be a DH no matter where the game is played. AND for the National League the manager will select the DH but for the AL the fans will select by ballot. .. I don’t know seems fair to me. … Another thing if a pitcher pitches the Sunday before the All-Star Game he won’t be eligible to pitch in the game but will still be an All-Star, participate in “festivities”etc. (I never thought of it as being particularly “festive” but who knows maybe they have a whole thing going on for the players and their families).  Then the rooster is expanded from 33 to 34 players .. then some technicality about a position player being selected who can return to the game if another player is injured .. zzzzzzzzzzz. no need to discuss, just let the manager worry about it.

I don’t know maybe it’s me but I just can’t get excited about the All-Star Game and actually I get a little annoyed by the whole darn thing. It interrupts the normal baseball season. Teams (usually the one’s I’m a fan of) always seem to loose their stride after the all-star break. The game no matter about World Series Home Field Advantage seems to mean absolutely nothing. Just an exhibition. .. You know it’s sort of like watching the academy awards if you were ever forced to do that. Bor-ing! Blah-blah isn’t so and so the greatest person ever created. Her aura is so powerful that it can even cure any disease known to man if she just gets close. When she spits a daisy emerges from the spot. .. Same here with the all-star game. yeah yeah aren’t they all wonderful.
