According to TMZ the Oakland A’s Coco Crisp had a sure fire story to get him off the hook for a DUI arrest but like Austin Kearns (who said something to the effect that I’m a Pro Ball Player (a celebrity) get me outta here) it just didn’t work… Damn. Did the Police hear that one a million times? I don’t know. I’ve never used it.. just try acting really really sorry and respectful (which is genuine.. not sorry for doing whatever minor thing of course but just really sorry for myself that I would have [click to contimue reading...]

Coco Crisp what are you doing?…  Apparently having too many drinks and then getting behind the wheel. Lucky for him he got pulled over and arrested. And by the way, Crisp is added to the group of  Miguel Cabrera of the Tigers and of course Austin Kearns who tried the “I’m a celebrity get me out of here” defense to no avail (a link to yesterday’s post is below). You dive off the couch, crash over that stupid vase on the coffee table and try explaining to your wife that you’re not loaded.. (a bit scared is all).  This in much the same way as movies with a speeding train would flip out people 90 years ago … so will baseball when it comes to 3-D this July. So we’ll get more of the taser guy and really see [click to contimue reading...]

Of all the ways to loose a game this has to be one of the worse. The Nationals fight it out until the 10th, then load the bases and walk in the final run. You know it must have been hard to be a Nationals fan. There you have your paid subscription to MLB.com, staying up, game goes to the 10th and then this happens. It’s kind of sad really and almost hard to make fun of. I don’t know, let’s see how the stats look, maybe this is an aberration (although I know it [click to contimue reading...]
