You’ve GOT to be kidding. Commercials are just everywhere, everywhere, EVERYWHERE (even on this blog). Now they invented something called the Major League Clutch Performer of the Month… and oh by the way.. this is presented by Pepsi. Which of course means that the folks running this “award” sold the name rights to Pepsi. Then there’s the regular commercials and during the game the this or that segment sponsored by whoever. You heard me right, a Strasburg Card on Ebay for $16,000 (check the Ebay Auction out here). After a rough weekend I start Monday Morning reading this piece in the Washington Post about Stephen Strasburg. ..My God, it was like reading from one of those romance novels (I’m guessing). So the MLB All-Star Game, useless/great, fun/boring depends on your perspective. So they made some changes which may but probably won’t change anyone’s stand on the thing. First is that there will be a DH no matter where the game is played. AND for the National League the manager will select the DH but for the AL the fans will select by ballot. ..
