Of all the ways to loose a game this has to be one of the worse. The Nationals fight it out until the 10th, then load the bases and walk in the final run. You know it must have been hard to be a Nationals fan. There you have your paid subscription to MLB.com, staying up, game goes to the 10th and then this happens. So here’s the deal. Someone with time on their hands has determined that the Cubbies have the highest price tickets in professional baseball $52.56..and the Boston Red Sox at $52.32 and the New York Yankees at $51.83 aren’t too far behind. You got to be kidding me. But the really big news in all this is that the Cubs are on this hyperinflation mode.. they keep upping the prices and people just keep coming to Wrigley. Bud Selig is in opposition to a plan by the state of Arizona to add extra taxes in order to finance the $84 million needed to provide the Chicago Cubs with a new training facility. This facility will include new practice filed and stadium. They propose to pay for it through an increased rental car tax as well as increasing the ticket prices of All Spring Training tickets by 8%.
