Ed Wade the current GM of the Houston Astros has had his contract extended through 2012. According to the owner Drayton McLane “That shows the confidence that all of us in the organization have for his leadership, his integrity and the direction he’s taking the Houston Astros..” That being said, I’m sure there will be pressure on Mr. Wade to turn around his struggling team.
