The deal on Albert Pujols is that his back is giving him problems. Mark McGwire made an interesting comment when discussing the steroid issue again with the press. Specifically he said, “If you want to rephrase it would be, I truly wish there was drug testing. If there was drug testing, I don’t think you’d be sitting here asking me these questions. There was no drug testing when I was playing.
