Strasburg who went from San Diego State to the Nationals as the number one draft pick is starting his career in the majors with reportedly over 150 fans trying to get his autograph. Strasburg looked good to catcher Ivan Rodriguez who commented that he likes what he sees with the fastball, curve and changeup. One thing for sure is now that he’s pitching in the majors he will see competition like never before. It’s a done deal. the Washington Nationals have signed Chein Wang a former Yankee righthander. Wang who had it very rough last year where he was 1-6 and had a sky high 9.64 ERA. But this wasn’t a lack of talent for Mr. Wang. He had shoulder problems which were serious enough to stop him mid-season so he could undergo surgery.
